Another one on the road

Well, she did it! For anyone that she hasn't called already, Maria got her license. It took several years off of both of our lives but she lucked out and got a nice guy that gave the test. She said that it was scary that the test was so easy and that they let people on the road who only had to pass THAT. The first thing she told me was that now she could go and pick up Fern at the airport next week. NOT.

I can breath again now, at least until the next crisis. I didn't blog yesterday. The title could have been"A Series of Unfortunate Events". The day was a lot like the movie, at least as entertaining ,but as the final hours of it included getting gum out of 2 toddlers hair at about 9:30, there was nothing left in me to stay awake and write. Peanut butter does not work to get gum from kids hair but fingernail polish remover and baby oil work pretty well. Be sure you have help before you try it.
