Christmas : unprepared

Aren't they the best looking babies you've ever seen? I think so. I have not had time to read my favorite blogs in the last few chaotic days and tried this morning to scan one at least. This woman is my friend even though I have never met her. Anyone who is mom to 39 children is a friend of mine. She is always in bigger messes than I am and it makes me feel better to read about her problems and solutions. She has not begun to make Christmas preparations. Imagine that! 39 kids plus grandkids and shopping not done. Now I don't feel so bad. I have no presents but I do have an undecorated tree up and am playing Christmas music. It is very hard to ever get past todays immediate crisis to plan supper, much less tomorrow or the next day. I will order at least one thing off the net today, finish decorating the tree, get Christmas lists from the 3 kids that haven't turned theirs in yet (thank you Cori and Pete for your list by e-mail) and decide what to buy the babies. I may even mail 2 or 3 Christmas cards.( Last years, since I didn't do anything with them)
